06 Civic Si: Not really a 3-Door or a hatchback, this coupe comes with a 2L K20 engine, making it a powerful road machine. Its stylish cockpit, along with its added features like the Euro-sport suspension makes this car an excellent choice for road warriors. The 2006 Honda Civic Si is available in the following models: Civic Si only, starting at $19,990.
The Civic Si includes Civic Coupe EX features plus a 197-horsepower 2.0-liter i-VTEC DOHC 4-cylinder engine, 6-speed manual transmission, limited slip differential, 17-inch alloy wheels, P215/45R17 tires (available in summer version), rear wing spoiler, Si badging, amber inner headlight ring, sports grille, sport exhaust tip, deeply bolstered seats with premium seating surfaces, red illumination instrument panel meters, leather wrapped steering wheel, leather wrapped aluminum shift knob, aluminum sport pedals, and a rev-limit indicator light. I do not know if Honda Motors is planning to release, or continue, the Honda Civic Type R model. I would definitely be cool if this model was available (I guess it would be rather different, since the Type R's were all Civic Hatchbacks). There is a cool website for Honda fans- JDM Civic (or you can try Club Civic), where you can air your concerns or recommendations.

It seems that the 2006 Civic Si is coming back to take the throne as America's most loved compact car. I remember the when the Si was featured in Gran Tourismo as the base level car (remember trying to beat the time limit to upgrade your license- bummer!), well it seems that this year's Civic Si slaps that virtual car right across the hood. This Si is a car to be reckoned with.
